Weekly

We gather weekly (every Sunday) in worship. But worship is where we go to rest and receive what the Lord has to offer us. Rest is wonderful, but we also need to eat. During the year, we meet weekly on Wednesdays in order to be fed by the Word and dive in deep, asking questions and searching the Scriptures for guidance for all of life's difficult questions.

Bible

Sometimes we study topics, and sometimes we study books of the Bible. Either way, the emphasis is not on what people have to say about God's Word, it is about God's own words to us. Because we believe that the Bible is God's Word, and because we believe that it is all useful teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training (2 Timothy 3:16).

Study

Students do not know everything or they would not be students. We consider everyone this side of heaven to be students of God's Word because there is always more to learn. We approach the Bible with humility and respect, but we also are willing to ask questions.

Food

It is not in the name, but we have a tradition of offering a meal provided by attendees to anyone that is present. We begin serving at 6:00 pm. We do this as a recognition that 6:30 pm on a weeknight is a valuable time for people, so we want to respect their time by providing food. Eating together is also a fantastic way for us to express our love for one another as we join for food.
